More tapering playtime

Playing amatuer photographer today with my new camera.  The wildflowers are in full bloom around Horsetooth and Lory Parks right now.  It will be a little later in the alpine regions (if the snow ever melts).  An easy loop around the parks this morning with a summit of Arthurs Rock.  I will be toeing the starting line at Black Hills in just 6 days!

Some great perfomances by the FCTR crew up in the snow and mud of Bighorn.  Great job y'all!

Today's run: 12.8 miles, 2894 feet of climbing, GPS data here

The route: Valley/Arthurs/Arthurs Summit/Howard/Mill Creek/Towers (Start and Finish at Soderberg TH)

Views from the trail today:

  1. Did you get any pictures of the colorado columbines on timber trail just east of the Arthur's rock summit?

  2. I turned left onto Howard Trail so I probably didn't reach them.
