A 27-mile loop of a few of the many trails around Pingree Park. The route went Fish Creek/Little Beaver Creek/Flowers/Browns Lake/Beaver Creek/Fish Creek, starting and ending at the Fish Creek East Trailhead. I guess I'm getting my legs back now 3 weeks post-Bear. Hardly any snow to deal with. There was much more snow at Donner Pass last week. Another great fall run!
For the first time, I made the side trip off from Flowers Trail to check out the wreckage of the WWII B17 that crashed into the mountain in 1944. Pretty amazing and eerie at the same time.
